ER

I was watching ER today, and it was one of my favorites...the one where Carol leaves and goes to Doug out in Seattle. There is a part of the show that always gets me everytime I see this episode. A lady comes into the ER and she is dying of cancer. She is married with two little girls. Towards the end, she dies. The husband, with the youngest girl in his arms and the other one holding the box of his wives belongings, comes in to say something to Carol. He asks her if she believes in a one true love, a soulmate. Is there someone, and only one, that we are supposed to find and love for the rest of our life? When he asks that it always makes me think...is there just one?
